Wamboin Fishing Club

Members of the Fishing Club attended the Grabine Fishing Classic at Wyangla dam from 24-26 August, 2009.  Wyangla dam is near Cowra, NSW and the Wamboin Web hears that there were over 900 people fishing over the weekend.

Latest fishing news

Hi, lots of news this time. The trip to Grabine was a great sucess and we plan to do it again next year. We have had an invitation to The Tuross Heads Fishing Club Competition in December. This will be discussed further at our next meeting. I have arranged a discount at a fishing store, I will pass on details at the next meeting. I would also like to discuss the possibility of members with fly casting experience to teach others wanting to learn some skills in this method of fishing.
