The Wamboin Web

Community

Wamboin Community Association

The Wamboin Community Association is a group of residents who act on behalf of the Wamboin community. Our task is to unite the Wamboin community. We organize community activities such as the bonfire night, the Wamboin Whisper (our local newsletter), Christmas carols, produce markets, Clean Up Australia days and even the chalkboard at the entrance to Wamboin. We provide Meet and Greet information for newcomers to our area. To achieve our aims we need the support of residents.

Community hall

Wamboin Community Hall is located at 112 Bingley Way. Depending on the type of activity, the hall can comfortably accommodate about 120 people.

Wamboin home produce markets

The Wamboin Community Association holds a produce market at the Community Hall on the third Saturday of each month, except July and August.

Bywong Community

Bywong is a neighbouring locality within the Palerang Shire in Southern NSW.   Bywong Community  operates its own web site.

The Wamboin web

The Wamboin Web is built and managed by Jenni Colwill and Bruce Bowden as our voluntary contribution to the Wamboin community.  It is designed to support the community activities of the residents of Wamboin.
